National Bus

The solar PV system at National Bus’ Marietta, Georgia headquarters features 390 Suniva 260 Watt solar panels with 8 Fronius IG Plus inverters.  Also featured is a Fronius online monitoring system capable of monitoring hourly /daily production of the system. The installation of the 101.4 Kilowatt array is the latest addition in National Bus’ ongoing initiative to reduce their carbon footprint through active promotion of energy efficiency upgrades, lighting retrofits, hybrid electric technology and now renewable energy generation.

“National Bus has been a pioneer in green technologies such as hybrid electric, CNG and propane for as long as these technologies have been available. NBS has performed deliveries of "Green" fleets to some of the largest fleets in the United States.
